About Us

The Ecosystem Science and Sustainability Initiative is an interdisciplinary effort initiated in 2004 with the generous support of the Archibald Bush Foundation. This collaborative effort has drawn together dozens of faculty from colleges and departments across the Twin Cities campus to develop and implement sustainability programs in undergraduate education, interdisciplinary research, and outreach to teachers and journalists.

Please read our Executive Summary for a formal review of all the projects supported by the Initiative.
